St. Karapet is an acting Armenian Apostolic church situated in Rostov-on-Don and is the only preserved Armenian Church in the city formerly called Nakhichevan-on-Don. The construction of the church was started in 1875 and completed in 1881. The money for the construction of the church was granted by the philanthropist from Nakhichevan Akyuline Aladjanyan.
