The building of the church is the former German Catholic church built in 1901 and named as St. Mary. In 2006 the church was purchased and renovated by Armenian community of Saxony and by the head of Armenian eparchy in Germany. Nowadays it is the place for holding liturgies. The church was sanctified on April 17 2010. It also runs a Sunday school.
