In 1906, 2rt August, the City Council of Vladivostok decided on the construction of the church, where, in particular, was spoken of "the territory of the Armenian community in the allocation for construction of house of worship and community". In address calendar 1913 indicates that the service is conducted Siberian priest Father Yeghishe Rostomyants. According to an eyewitness of Emma Stepanian, who visited the church 2 times (last time - in 1942), a house of worship was a one-story wooden structure, is no different from other houses in the neighborhood. By the early 1990s, the building remained only ruins. The city authorities decided to demolish them was, however, interfered with the representatives of the Armenian community. Structure, or rather, what's left of it, was transferred to the Armenian community in Vladivostok. Now, on the ruins of a two-storey stands Surb Gevorg. Construction lasted 10 years. Church opened its doors in 2007.
