The St. Bartolomeo church was founded in 1308. In 1595 the church was full renovated and from the original one only the central part remained – that are the nave, cupola and sacrarium.
One of the Christian relics is preserved here – the Holy Face of Genoa that is in the church since 1384. The St. Bartolomeo is an inoperative church and only twice a year the spiritual leaders come from Vatican and exhibit the relic.
