St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Catholic community was founded in Toronto in 1973. Not until 1993 the community had its own church building and the liturgies were held in various catholic churches of the city. In 1993 with the support of Armenian community in Canada the current building was constructed in Northdale-road.
