St. Amenaprkich is the only acting Armenian Church in Kirov region. The head of the Armenian Community Furman Abrahamian financed the construction of the church (started in 1995). Eight years later the construction was over. The church was consecrated on 13 July 2003 by Bishop Khosrov Stepanian and was named as St. Amenaprkich. The church also runs a Sunday school where the Armenian language and literature are taught.
