St Karapet church was opened on January 26 2013 and is the third Armenian Church in Netherlands joint by churches in Almelo and Amsterdam. Before passing to Armenian community by Roermond diocese of Rome-Catholic church St Karapet was a catholic temple. The church was consecrated by the head of French diocese archbishop Norvan Zakarian.
