The school was founded in 1951 in the east to Beirut in the Dora city. When opened it was a small kindergarten with small room for 20 children. In 1966 the institution moved to a new building granted by Torosian couple under whose name it goes. In 1973 the kindergarten became a full secondary school. Nowadays the school has classes from primary up to ninth.
