Nicosia Armenian School is situated between Armenian prelacy building and St Astvacacin church in municipality of Strovolos. In 1972 the school was called “Narek” after great Armenian philosopher Grigor Narekaci. The present school building was constructed with the help of the Cyprus ministry of education. Nowadays about 110 Armenian pupils study at “Narek”.
