The Holy Trinity church was founded in 1928 but not until 1953 the church had its own building and the liturgies were held in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Toronto. In 1953 with the money granted by Armenian Diaspora the church construction was started in Scarborough. The new church (the first one in Toronto) was named after the Holy Trinity church in Toronto as a gratitude for hosting them during the 25 years.
