The university was founded in 1955 in Beirut and named after famous Armenian educator Armenak Haykazyan who received master’s degree of philosophy at Yale University and was the director of Djenanyan school in Turkish town Konya. Nowadays the university offers undergraduate programs in Arts and Humanity sciences and also graduate programs in Arts. The certificates that are given by graduation are recognized by the Lebanese government and by the International association of colleges and universities.
