988 Madison Ave, New York
An art dealer with thirty years of experience, deemed one of the three most influential people in the art world, gallery owner Larry Gagosian expanded his business eight years ago by opening an art store. The Gagosian Shop, which occupies an area of 232 square meters on the corner of Madison Avenue and 77th Street, carries books, graphics, and souvenirs from some of the most prominent figures in contemporary art, including exclusive copyrighted products. Notable items include a series of flower vases by Jeff Koons, a hand-painted book by Anselm Reilly, the "Hallucinatory Head" by Damien Hirst, and the Damascus Knife designed by Marc Newson. The store regularly hosts meet-and-greets with artists.
