The “Petrossian” restaurant was opened in New York in 1984. It’s located in Alvin Kurt – a historical building in Westside. The restaurant belongs to famous “Petrossian” company whose founders - Mikael and Melkum Petrossian brothers left Russia for France and opened there the first store. They used to sell black caviar, which was a rare delicacy in that time. By 1980 the family business became a huge trading company and Armen Petrossian (Mikael’s son) built his own fish factory in Paris. The New York’s branch serves mostly French cuisine and the big portion of the menu is fish and particularly caviar.
