Hakhverdyan and Element Band celebrate Armenian Independence Day

Ruben Hakhverdyan, Element Band, along with a coterie of wonderful musicians, have joined forces to celebrate Armenian Independence Day Sept. 22 at the Ford Amphitheatre.

Hakhverdyan will debut his long-awaited album along with old favorites and Element Band will begin the evening's festivities with its usual diverse repertoire as well as songs from their upcoming album, due to release in 2014.

Guests of the open-air Ford Amphitheater are encouraged to bring a picnic basket and their favorite bottle of wine for a beautiful musical evening under the stars.

The concert will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m., and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
