What and Where in Yerevan: Argentine Tango

So, here you are a traveller in Armenia with a burning passion for the ultimate communication between leader and follower, for the music that comes out through your feet and for the interest to discover how tango accommodates itself in the Armenian realities? Well, it has been five years that Argentine Tango Yerevan Community welcomes locals and travellers to participate in private and group classes, to learn from overseas masters and to visit Sunday Milongas in Yerevan.

The Argentine tango dance started in Yerevan about five years ago with regular Milongas taking place in local pubs. Over time, the community grew bigger. Currently, there are at about forty active tangueros in Yerevan. Argentine Tango Yerevan is a community of expressive Armenians who have attraction with the language of Argentine tango and meet regularly to learn and to dance.

If you have magnificent obsession for tango and happen to be in Armenia, you can contact the community by finding their public group (Argentine Tango Yerevan. RELOAD) on Facebook to participate in Sunday Milongas, classes or workshops. Milongas are organized every Sunday, where one can meet not only locals, but also expats and travellers from all over the world.
