In 1994 an Armenian immigrant by the name Kalustian opened two-storied shop on Lexington Ave. This store was specialized in selling various flavorings and spices including many exotic ones from Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Thailand. The shop is famous for its wide selection of coffee, tea and sweets in whole New York. The Kalustian’s market is also famous for the freshness of its products.
