The store was established in 1993 and is specialized in selling eastern rugs (Armenian and Iranian in particular). It is the familiar business of Armenian immigrant Harold Badukian and his wife Janice Summers. They are outstanding experts in carpet art history and its production technique. Janice has written many books on that theme. The store also has a workroom where restoration works of any difficulty are done.
