In order to familiarize oneself with the world, it is sometimes necessary to climb up onto roofs and forget all about earthly sensation.
In 1505 Leonardo Da Vinci put together what is called the Codex on the Flight of Birds, a series of folios filled with knowledge concerning flight and flying objects. A few years after creating the codex, Da Vinci began conducting experiments of his own in the surrounding hills of Florence. The great genius must have sensed that, throughout its history, mankind has and always will strive for technological advancement. People will never stop trying to make up for their physical limitations, advancing all realms of knowledge, or trying endlessly to unveil what is yet unknown.
In the spirit of Da Vinci and his winged aspirations, we present bird’s eye view photographs taken of cities around the globe. After seeing these, you’ll surely wish you had wings yourself.
Our cover photo gives you a shot of our beloved city, Yerevan. Enjoy the rest, from all over the world!
