The Holy Martyrs church was built in a small town Encino in California in 1959. The Armenian community funded money for purchasing the land for the construction. The church architect Garegin Kondradjian designed the plan of the building as the smaller copy of the St. Grigor Abugamrents that is situated in ancient Armenian city Ani.
