The “Armenia” Store is situated near the Pushkin Square in the center of Moscow. First it was opened in 1952 and was property of Soviet Armenia. After Soviet Union breakup the store was given to Moscow municipality as debt payoff. The “Armenia” worked until 2006 and was closed to be renovated. The new store was reopened in December 2010 with the renovated fretwork, the mosaic of 1950s and with a new golden signboard. Nowadays “Armenia” is a two storey building with the best assortment of Armenian products in Moscow and a small café which serves a coffee with traditional Armenian Pakhlava.
