Avanesyan, Shakhnazaryan headline Krasnodar boxing attraction

Aik "The Humanoid" Shakhnazaryan, a 20-year-old light welterweight boxer from Samara, Russia, will take on Felix Lora for the WBO European light welterweight title on April 18.

The 12-round fight is set to take place in Krasnodar's Basket Hall.

The 140-pound contender Shakhnazaryan, 11-0 with four knockouts, has already fought twice in 2014, both of his contests ending by knockout in the second round.

Lora will bring a record of 18-10 with five knockouts to the ring.

The 25-year-old David Avanesyan (16-1, 9 KOs), born in Sadovoye and living in Pyatigorsk, reportedly is slated to be the main event against Kaizer Mabuza (25-10-3, 15 KOs).
