FIFA has released its new rankings, and Armenia comes in at No. 38 in the world, a new club record.
Armenia moved up seventeen slots from its previous position. Of the 207 FIFA ranked teams, only Scotland, No. 35 in the world, had a higher jump in the rankings with 22 slots.
Armenia currently has 687 points.
The FIFA rankings prognosis calculates a possible rankings points of 716 for its next release; the tally would elevate Armenia to No. 35.
Holding to the No. 1 spot in the world is Spain, followed by Germany, Argentina, and Colombia, respectively.
During the qualifications, Henrikh Mkhitaryan also took over the all-time goal lead with 12.
