Katherine Sarafian’s Brave Wins Golden Globe

Producer Katherine Sarafian took home a Golden Globe award when her film Brave won “Best Animated Feature Film.” Brave, which was a critical and box office success last summer, was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. Brave competed for the Golden Globe alongside Frankenweenie, Hotel Transylvania, Rise of the Guardians and Wreck-It Ralph. Sarafian took the stage with her director, Mark Andrews, who accepted the award and said, “Being brave is about being true to yourself and allowing your loved ones that same freedom.”
