Memorial del genocidio armeno, Santiago, Chile
The Armenian Genocide memorial was installed in the capital of Chili in 1975 on initiative of Armenian community. The memorial is the granite pyramid sculpture with a small marble cup beside it. The plate tells: “April 24, 1915 – 1975. In memory of 1 500 000 people killed by Turks. A symbol of Armenia’s freedom and courage”
