Oracle Corporation, a worldwide leader of software developing, plans to open a “center of excellence” in Armenia.
The news was announced at a press conference in Yerevan by Alain Blanc, the company's senior vice president.
“The development of the IT sector is among the priorities of the Armenian Government,” Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said. “We have registered a 15 to 20 percent growth in the field and we are confident that this bilateral cooperation will give new impetus to the further development of the IT sphere in our country.”
