Eshoo issues 'Video Choice Act of 2013' proposal

California Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo has proposed the "Video Choice Act of 2013," which would require cable distributors to offer subscribers the opportunity to choose channels a la carte, and give the FCC more power in retrans disputes, like the recent bitter battle between CBS and Time Warner Cable.  

Eshoo, who has Armenian and Assyrian heritage, serves California's 18th District.
