Yerevan Magazine alumni to speak at ‘Elevate 2014’

Woodbury University will be hosting a “Leadership Development Conference” on Saturday, March 29 entitled “Elevate 2014 Armenian Leadership Development Conference.”

Among the featured guest speakers are three former Yerevan Magazine heroes which were profiled throughout the years: Pixar’s Katherine Sarafian (May/June 2012, cover), Nightlife impresario Mikayel Israyelyan (March/April 2012, cover) and boxing and MMA trainer Edmond Tarverdyan (September/October 2012).

Arby Nahapetyan, M.D., Scott Ochoa, Dr. Luis Ma R. Calingo are among the other guest speakers.

Hagop Baghdassarian, organized by Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter and Woodbury University Center for Leadership, will be a special honoree.

“Elevate 2014 Armenian Leadership Development Conference” will be a three-hour engagement, set to take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration, as well as a continental breakfast will be served at 9 a.m., and a luncheon with refreshments will be served from 12 to 1 p.m.
