Armenia sends four athletes to 2014 Sochi Olympics

Four athletes will represent the country of Armenia in the 2014 Sochi Olympics. 

 

Of the four, three will be competing in cross-country, and the other in alpine skiing. 

 

Twenty-one year old cross-country skier Sergey Mikayelyan was awarded the honor of carrying the Armenian flag at the opening ceremony. Mikayelyan also was a representative of Armenia for the 2010 Vancouver Games.

-- Katya Galstyan: Age 21 - Cross-Country - Coached by Slava Sargsyan 

 

-- Sergey Mikayelyan: Age 21 - Cross-Country - Coached by Artur Mikayelyan 

 

-- Artur Yeghoyan: Age 23 - Cross-Country - Coached by Artur Mikayelyan 

 

-- Arman Serebrakian: Age 26 - Alpine Skiing - Serebrakian was a representative of Armenia for the 2010 Vancouver Games, along with his sister Ani Matilda Serebrakian.
