The New York Times has published a letter about how two Armenians -- one a taxi driver, the other a passenger -- sporadically met at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport.
This brief story takes Carl and Jon from a taxi ride through New York, to discovering they are both Armenian, to later, two dozen lahmajuns for Christmas.
It's a story that further validates William Saroyan's famous quote, "For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia."
