Gegard Mousasi headed to Brazil to face Lyoto Machida

Former Dream and Strikeforce champion Gegard "The Dreamcather" Mousasi will head to Brazil to fight Lyoto Machida in a UFC middleweight bout.

The main event match will take place Feb. 8 in Jaragua do Sol, Brazil and will air on Fox Sports.

The high-profiled fight is contracted at the middleweight limit of 185 pounds.

Mousasi (34-3-2) will be making his middleweight debut as he elevated to the weight limit despite being unbeaten in his last seven appearances at 205 pounds.

Machida (20-4) is a former UFC light heavyweight champion.

His fight against Mousasi will mark only his second time fighting in the division. Machida made his middleweight by knocking out Mark Munoz in the first round.
