"Music to Madness - The Story of Komitas," written and directed by David Deranian, is a feature length documentary film that tells the story of the famous Armenian priest Komitas who from an early age was prolific in his musical talent that included an amazing voice, truly innovative original music compositions, and painstaking musicological research that saved over 3,000 Armenian folk songs from disappearing during the cultural annihilation of the Armenian Genocide.
