Yerevan. 20th Century iBook

15 stories about buildings and places of special significance for Yerevan's life through photos, video materials from archives, and memoirs of different individuals are now available on Apple iTunes. In particular, readers can get acquainted with the stories of Cascade, Closed Market, Ani and Sevan hotels, Koziryok cafe, Youth Palace, Hrazdan Stadium, Moscow and Russia movie theaters, and others. The materials for the project are provided by the National Archives of Armenia, the Museum of History of Yerevan, the Scientific Research Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage adjunct to the RA Ministry of Culture, the National Museum-Institute of Architecture of Armenia, etc. Yerevan. 20th Century book is created on the basis of the Mediamax news agency’s TV project. The interactive version of the book was implemented with the support of Armenian iBooks Facebook initiative and is free for the readers in more than 50 countries including U.S., Argentine, and a number of European countries.
