Darchinyan, Miskirtchian fighting for world titles

After nearly pulling off what would have been 2013's biggest upset by beating Nonito Donaire, Vic Darchinyan will be returning to the ring on May 31 to take on Nicholas Walters in China.

The 12-round fight, scheduled to air on HBO 2, is set to take place at the Cotai Arena in the Venetian Resort in Macao. It is for the WBA World featherweight title.

Walters (23-0, 19 KOs) is 28-years-old and hails from Jamaica.

Fellow Armenian Alexander Miskirtchian (24-2, 9 KOs) will take on “The Russian Mexican” Evgeny Gradovich (18-0, 9 KOs) for the IBF featherweight title in a co-featured attraction.
